There’s no show like it!  This school assembly features author and illustrator of “Dan Gogh’s Camp Drawing Book,” showcasing how STEM skills can be used to learn drawing. It’s a unique show that brings interactivity to a whole new level, allowing students to draw during the presentation.

During the assembly, your students will discover the importance of creativity and how everyone can draw. By using geometric shapes, symmetry, and fractions, they will see how simple it is to create their own masterpieces. Imagine the joy and laughter as they realize the possibilities within their reach!

Not only will your students have a great time, but they will also walk away with a drawing to proudly show off to their family and friends. It’s a fantastic way for them to connect academics with self-expression and leave feeling empowered.

“It was great to see all of the students actively involved in an assembly where they were able to follow simple steps for creating a drawing that they were proud of. We try to cultivate creativity in our school, and this assembly provided students with an opportunity to unlock a creative side they might not know they had.” Eric Larson, Principal Patton Elementary School

"Dan is one of the best presenters we have ever had at Central Road School! He is talented artist, and a natural teacher. The kids loved every minute of this assembly, and were all smiles as they each left with two wonderful drawings that Dan helped them create. We all appreciated his wit and humor, and his message that everybody can draw!" Janelle Morse, Central Road PTA

"Dan’s visit to Lincolnwood Elementary was a huge success! Students were encouraged to create their own real, life superheroes.  He kept the students engaged as they were included in the design of each element.  We were blown away by Dan’s ability to cram so much punch into such a short time frame. Art teachers have such limited time with students – it was nice offering more opportunities for students to expand their artistry and ask questions from a working artist."

“Dan gave an engaging and interactive workshop for all of our kindergarten through fifth grade students.  Everyone enjoyed his talk and lessons on the importance of creativity and ability everyone has to draw.  His step by step instructions and demonstrations held everyone’s interest and was also entertaining.  I highly recommend his workshops for any age.”
