Dan Laib first started drawing when he was four years old.  He has spent the last 15 years as a painter and also preforming as a caricature artist at different events all over the Chicogland area.  In an economy that has little funding for the arts, Dan affordably brings creativity back into the schools and libraries by DRAWING on his years of experience in the art world.  Dan’s art shows are sure to educate, entertain, and inspire your kids!  Here are the shows that are currently offered:

Thank you again for such an awesome and entertaining show!   I had one of the day care providers ask when you were coming back to do more portraits, It was a pleasure to meet you and I look forward to booking another show for our summer reading program next summer.”

Tisha Smith, Youth Services Librarian, Broadview Public Library District

“Manteno Public Library has had the pleasure of hosting multiple Dan Laib programs, including both drawing workshops and art shows.  Most recently, we had “The Amazing Human Body Art Show” as a part of our Summer Reading Program.  Patrons of all ages attended this program and enjoyed Dan’s entertaining show and artwork.  We have hosted drawing classes for both children and adults—both with positive feedback for the program.  Dan is very professional, a fantastic artist, and easy to work with—I would highly recommend any of his programs! ”
